#HappySoundsLike isn’t the only charitable campaign John Legend is embarking on this month. Last year’s International Day of Happiness featured Pharrell Williams’ 24 Hours of Happiness campaign, in which fans posted YouTube videos of themselves “demonstrating their happiness” to Pharrell’s track “Happy.” General Assembly established International Day of Happiness in 2012 to acknowledge that “the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal” and to recognize “the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of all peoples,” according to the resolution.
